This was our second get together, and just what I needed (28th April)
My lowest point was January. My leg muscles were so weak,
I couldn't stand up for more than a few seconds even with the zimmer frame.
Pat had to lift my legs into bed, I couldn't even roll over in bed.
I've been building my legs up with a vibration plate and pedals from a sitting position.
They're much stronger now, I can get around the house now,
although my feet and legs don't go where I want them to.
My balance is still very bad, and I have lots of leg spasms.
Got downstairs for the first time 6 weeks ago.
(first time since I had a fall on 29th November)
Still need the zimmer, but can stand and walk for more than a few minutes.
Legs still quite numb from toes to waist. I've found things getting easier at last.
I can now dress myself, and go to the bathroom by myself.
Still need the toilet frame and shower chair, but it's easier than before.
Taking loads of vitamins and detox stuff, but playing music is the best therapy.

It started with pins & needles in one foot, then the other foot,
then the legs, then up to the waist, then turned to numbness.
Neurologist sum up is Functional Neurological Disorder.
My balance is so bad, I can't walk or stand up without a Zimmer.
Physios were coming 3 times a week to try and get me to walk.
It's getting harder, my hands and fingers are numb too.
I have to rebuild my leg muscles now.
Got a vibration plate and pedals which I'm using from a sitting position.

We're Back with 2 gigs, and another
It's a year since we were all devastated at losing Roger.
The 4 of us have been getting together to play recently, just for our love of music,
not thinking about gigs. Now we've been offered 2 gigs !!!
We had to think about this.
Do we change the name of the band, do we drop all the songs that Roger sang?
We decided that Roger would be with us in spirit, and would want us to play,
so we dedicate our gig at the Stock Dove to our friend Roger Walburn.
Michelle at the Stock Dove has asked ReWired to be the house band
for an open mic/Jam monthly, first Thursday in the month.
The House band will play the first 25 minutes and finish the night.
Bring your own instrument, snare drum and microphone.
Individuals (guitarists, bassists, drummers, singers) can replace any of us.
Guitar vocalists can go solo or have us backing you. Full bands can replace us.
(not idiots who want to make a noise and thrash our gear)
Thursday 7th October was the first one.
I did this, then went in hospital.
First Thursday back after 7 months (full gig) - went very well
I've had some Studio sessions with some band mates recently
First Sunday back after 6 months - Great turn out, went very well
First Thursday back after 6 months - went very well again
First gig for me since March
Arny wanted me to do all the vocals again for a better sound.
